How to customize checkout?

This guide provides a step-by-step process to customize your checkout experience, including layout, branding, login flow, address step, and payment options.



General Customization


The General tab allows you to control how your checkout looks and feels, ensuring it aligns with your brand identity.


Step 1: Open Customization

Login to your FlexyPe Dashboard and go to Customization from the left sidebar.


Step 2: Open General tab

Go to the General tab.




Logo and Colors


General customization – logo and colors


  • Upload Logo (WEBP, PNG, JPG, GIF up to 150×40 px)
  • Color Scheme: Primary button color, text color, and upsell background color
  • Layout Control: Reorder sections such as Banner, Order Summary, Coupons, and Upselling using drag and drop


Drag the slider to select and adjust the color scheme.



Layout Options and Advanced Features


  • Exit Checkout Layout: Default, Out of Stock Warning, or Savings Reminder




  • Coupon Layouts:
  • Layout 1: Basic
  • Layout 2: Highlighted offers




Layout 2 appears only when an applicable coupon is available. Otherwise, it defaults to Layout 1.


  • Order Summary Enhancements: Quantity changer, compare-at pricing, additional product details



  • Upselling Section: Configure title and product recommendations

Example title: “Products you may like”



  • Redirect Options: Redirect users to Shopify checkout with custom text

Example: “Ordering from outside India?”

  • Other Options:
  • Gift Card CTA
  • COD availability reasons
  • Auto-redirect international users
  • Show automatic coupons


Step 3: Save changes

Click Save to apply general customization settings.



Login Customization


The Login tab lets you customize the checkout login experience.


Step 1: Open Customization

Login to your FlexyPe Dashboard and go to Customization from the left sidebar.


Step 2: Open Login tab

Go to the Login tab.





Banner

  • Add and manage Banner Texts
  • Control banner visibility




Button

  • Customize the button text that takes users to the Address page

Example: “Continue”


Coupons

  • Enable coupon display during login
  • Show locked coupon messages
  • Choose coupon UI:
  • Coupon cards
  • Code entry field



Coupon UI

Select whether coupons appear as cards or a manual code entry field.


Upselling

Enable product recommendations during the login stage.


Trust Badges

Add trust badges such as Risk-Free, Cash on Pickup, or 100% Natural.



Step 3: Save changes

Click Save to apply login customization settings.



Address Customization


The Address tab controls customization at the delivery address stage.


Step 1: Open Customization

Login to your FlexyPe Dashboard and go to Customization from the left sidebar.


Step 2: Open Address tab

Go to the Address tab.





Banner

  • Add and control visibility of Banner Texts


Button

  • Customize the button text to proceed further

Example: “Continue”


Coupons

  • Display coupon options
  • Choose between coupon cards or manual code entry


Upselling

Show relevant upsell product recommendations at the address stage.


Address Form Options

  • Additional Address Line: Add extra space for delivery instructions
  • Required Additional Line: Make the additional line mandatory



Step 3: Save changes

Click Save to apply address customization settings.



Payments Customization


The Payments tab allows you to customize billing details and payment methods.


Step 1: Open Customization

Login to your FlexyPe Dashboard and click Customization from the left sidebar.


Step 2: Open Payments tab

Go to the Payments tab.




Billing & GST

Enable a section for customers to enter billing and GST details.



Payment Method UI

  • Choose between Layout 1, Layout 2, or Layout 3
  • Highlight offers such as “Extra 5% off with UPI”



Payment Methods

Manage and configure:

  • UPI
  • Cash on Delivery (COD)
  • Debit / Credit Cards
  • Wallets
  • EMI options (e.g., Snapmint)
  • Pay Later, Net Banking, and more


Each payment method can be enabled, disabled, or promoted.


Step 3: Save changes

Click Save to apply payment customization settings.
