How to do retargeting for Abandoned Checkout customers?
Here is the step-by-step guide to retarget abandoned checkout customers:
Note:
Shopify is gradually updating its abandoned checkout policies and may restrict third-party checkouts from pushing abandoned checkout data into Shopify.
This may or may not be applicable to your store depending on the rollout.
Manual Retargeting
Step 1:
Login to your FlexyPe dashboard and go to Abandoned Checkouts from the left sidebar.
Step 2:
A list of abandoned checkouts will appear, along with the exact checkout step where customers dropped off.
Step 3:
Open any specific Checkout ID to view details and retarget the customer using their available contact information.
WhatsApp Automation Retargeting
Step 4:
Obtain the Abandoned Checkout Webhook from your WhatsApp automation tool.
Step 5:
Login to your FlexyPe dashboard and go to Settings from the left sidebar.
Step 6:
Navigate to Integrations and click on Abandoned Checkout Webhooks.
Step 7:
Click on Add Webhook and paste the webhook URL into the URL field.
Step 8:
If an API Secret Key is provided:
- Paste it into the API Secret field
Step 9:
Click on Save to apply the changes.
Once configured, your WhatsApp automation will start retargeting abandoned checkout users automatically.
