How to offer free delivery on orders?

This is a step-by-step guide to create a Free Shipping discount, allowing you to remove delivery charges for eligible orders based on cart value, quantity, customer eligibility, or usage limits.



Free Shipping Overview


The Free Shipping Discount lets you waive shipping charges at checkout to reduce friction, increase conversions, and encourage higher cart values through threshold-based campaigns.


Step 1:

Login to your FlexyPe dashboard and go to Coupons from the left sidebar.



Step 2:

Click on Add Coupon from upper right corner to create coupon.



Step 3:

Click on Free Shipping.





Create a Free Shipping Discount


Step 4: Setup

Configure how free shipping is applied at checkout.



Options include

  • Application Type
  • Coupon Code – customer enters a code (e.g., FREEDEL)
  • Automatic Discount – applies automatically when conditions are met
  • Shipping Rate Filters
  • Set a maximum eligible shipping rate
  • Example: Apply free shipping only for rates below ₹200



Configure Conditions


Step 5: Condition

Define when free shipping becomes applicable.



Options include

  • No Requirement – applies to all orders
  • Min/Max Purchase Amount – qualify based on cart value
  • Min/Max Quantity – require a specific number of items in cart



Set User Eligibility


Step 6: User eligibility

Control who can receive free shipping.



Options include

  • Audience Type
  • All users
  • Specific users
  • Order Scope
  • All orders
  • First order only
  • Based on total order history



Define Usage Limits


Step 7: Usage limits

Limit how often free shipping can be used.



Options include

  • Global Usage Limit – maximum total redemptions
  • Per-Customer Limit – restrict individual usage
  • Stacking Permissions – allow or block combination with other discounts
  • Active Duration – define start and end dates/times
  • Disable COD – optionally restrict Cash on Delivery



Preview Discount Display


Step 8: Preview

Customize how free shipping appears during checkout.



Options include

  • Visibility – show or hide the offer at checkout
  • Display Details
  • Add titles such as “Free Shipping on Orders Above ₹999”



Step 9:

Click on Submit to apply changes.
